About Timberline Fire Mitigation
Our Mission
To protect Front Range homes, families, and communities from the growing threat of wildfire through expert, affordable, and ecologically responsible land mitigation services.
Meet the Founder
Front Range Fire Mitigation, LLC was founded by Chris, a USMC veteran with a proven track record in Colorado fire management. After serving our country, Chris transitioned his dedication to public safety toward protecting local communities right here in the Denver Front Range.
As a dedicated owner-operator, Chris brings over 7 years of mitigation experience, deep regional expertise, and an unwavering commitment to every property he treats. When you hire us, you are working directly with a professional who understands exactly how wildfire behaves in Colorado’s diverse terrain and knows what it takes to save a home.
Why We Started
The Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI) along the Front Range faces an unprecedented challenge. With skyrocketing insurance premiums, strict carrier compliance rules, and landmark state laws like House Bill 25-1182 requiring insurance premium credits for verified mitigation work, homeowners need more than just land clearing—they need documented protection.
We launched this business to bridge that gap. We help residential and commercial clients navigate complex county permit guidelines and insurance requirements while executing the heavy-duty work needed to keep properties safe and certifiable.
The Values That Drive Our Work
Veteran Integrity: We do what we say we are going to do, on time and on budget. We treat your property with the exact same care and safety protocols we would use on our own homes.
- Ecological Responsibility: Fire mitigation isn’t about clear-cutting the land; it’s about restoring forest health. We clear dangerous ladder fuels, brush, and high-risk trees while promoting a healthier, more resilient local ecosystem.
- Community First: We live and work here. Our ultimate goal is the collective resilience of our tightly clustered alpine and foothills neighborhoods. Every home we mitigate creates a safer barrier for the entire community.
